Camera-initiated transfer
Use prompts on your camera's LCD screen to transfer images and video clips* saved on your camera to your smartphone or tablet.
Device-initiated transfer
Use your wireless device to retrieve images and video clips* from your camera and save them onto the device.
Remote sharing
Control functions such as optical zoom, flash, self-timer and shutter release for remote capture on select PowerShot cameras, using your compatible smartphone or tablet. Captured images are saved to the camera.
Tag images with GPS data
Wirelessly add GPS** information to your images on select PowerShot cameras by recording GPS data on your iOS® or Android™ smartphone# with the CameraWindow app##.
NFC (Near Field Communicated Support)
Automatically launch the CameraWindow app by touching the NFC icon on select PowerShot cameras to your compatible Android™ device^. If the app is not installed, the download screen will display when the devices are brought together.
