SIMPLE TO SET UP AND EASY TO USE
The R30 scanner is easy to set up and conveniently allows users to start scanning almost immediately. Connect the scanner to a Windows or Mac computer using the supplied USB cable to begin using the software built into the R30, Canon CaptureOnTouch Lite. This “Plug-and-Scan” capability allows users to begin scanning without having to install software onto a computer from a CD or via download. CaptureOnTouch Lite makes it simple to scan individual or mixed batches of documents, such as invoices, business cards, IDs, postcards, and almost any other document you may wish to convert to electronic format to store or share. Both sides of the document can be scanned in a single pass at the same time, and the automatic feeder will hold up to 60 sheets, eliminating the need to feed items one-by-one.
INTUITIVE SOFTWARE TO INCREASE PRODUCTIVITY
The built-in Canon CaptureOnTouch Lite allows users to save scanned documents into almost any digital format, including searchable PDFs, PNG, and JPG files. With options to scan in color or black-and-white, the R30 scanner has a top scanning speed of up to 25 pages per minute. Mixed batches of documents can easily be handled, and automatic settings for color detection, resolution, and image cropping, rotation, and straightening, provide high image quality. To help ensure the software will have all of the latest features, the CaptureOnTouch Lite software will also automatically update to new versions as they become available.

The R30 scanner is designed with the environment in mind, the packaging includes minimal plastic and the scanner complies with ENERGY STAR® energy efficiency standards.
CUSTOMER CARE HELPS PUT YOUR MIND AT EASE
The imageFORMULA R30 scanner comes with a one-year limited warranty for advanced exchange service. In the unlikely event the device does need
a covered repair, Canon will send a replacement scanner in advance of receiving the device that needs repair. Additionally, Canon’s customer service for the R30 is 100% Canada-based, so representatives are quickly available to get any needed answers. Canon also offers extended warranty options for coverage beyond one year.
