CPS Cashback Terms and Conditions
1. PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS, PARTICIPATING RETAILERS, PROMOTIONAL PERIOD, AND PARTICIPANTS
1.1. This promotion is a Canon Canada Inc. (“Canon”) promotion and only available on purchases made of any of the products listed below in Schedule 1 (the “Promotional Products”) within Canada from one of our participating retailers between September 14, 2026, at 12:00 PM ET and December 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET.
1.2. All Participants must be a resident in Canada (“Participant”), with a valid Canon Professional Services (CPS) Gold, Platinum, or Cinema membership.
1.3. All Participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1.4. Only Products sold by Participating Retailers are eligible for this promotion. Some Participating Retailers may operate marketplaces that allow other sellers to sell their products. Products purchased on these marketplaces are not eligible for this promotion.
2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
2.1. To enter the cashback promotion, the Participant must purchase a Promotional Product or Products from a Participating Retailer during the Promotional Period within Canada AND submit a valid claim online within thirty (30) calendar days after the purchase.
2.2. Claims must be submitted by fully and correctly completing a claim form online (including specifying a valid product serial number that is a readable scan or a clear photograph of the serial number of the Promotional Product). Participants will need to scan, upload and attach to the online claim form a copy of their receipt, or order confirmation for internet purchases.
2.3. Canon will not process any claims received after thirty (30) calendar days from the date of the corresponding purchase. Canon will not process claims which are in its opinion incomplete or illegible.
3. CASHBACK
3.1. Participants will receive a fixed cashback amount for eligible purchases of the Promotional Products as explicitly set out in Schedule 1.
3.2. Upon receipt and verification of the claim, Canon will arrange for a direct e-Transfer payment to the Participant's bank account. No alternative arrangement will be entered into and no cash or cheque will be provided.
3.3. Canon will endeavour to transfer via e-Transfer within 4-6 weeks of receipt of a complete and valid claim.
3.4. Only one e-Transfer payment will be issued per valid claim.
3.5. Only one (1) lens and one (1) camera may be claimed per year.
3.6. This cashback offer may be combined with other concurrent Canon promotional offers, excluding other cashback promotions.
4. THE PROMOTER
4.1. The promoter is Canon Canada Inc.
5. DISCLAIMERS
5.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canon shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any Participant under this promotion. However, nothing in these rules shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Canon's liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of Canon's employees or agents.
5.2. Canon reserves the right to audit any claims to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions and to request additional information and supporting documents. Canon reserves the right to exclude claims and/or Participants if it suspects that the promotion is being abused in any way.
6. DATA
6.1. By participating in this promotion, each Participant expressly consents to Canon, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using any personal and other information submitted only for the purpose of administering the promotion and in accordance with Canon's privacy policy. This section does not limit any other consent(s) that an individual may provide Canon or others in relation to the collection, use and/or disclosure of their personal information. Canon is the Data Controller in respect of any personal data supplied by Participants. Any personal data submitted to Canon will be processed by (a) Canon and its third-party supplier Benamic Ltd, IDA Business and Technology Park, Ring Road, Kilkenny, Ireland, for the purpose of administering this promotion, and, if applicable (b) by Canon and its associated companies for marketing purposes. 6.2. If Participants do not wish for their contact information to be used for marketing purposes or to enable Canon to contact them in the future regarding similar promotions, they should NOT check the relevant “opt-in” box when completing the claim form.
7. LAW
7.1. The forum for any disputes relating to this promotion shall be the Province of Ontario and you agree to attorn to the courts in the Province of Ontario and agree that all legal proceedings in respect of this promotion shall be commenced and maintained only in the courts of the said province.
