CANON CANADA PLEDGES SUPPORT FOR RED CROSS SPRING FLOOD APPEAL

BRAMPTON, ON., May 12, 2017 – Canon Canada Inc. has donated $15,000 (CAD) to the Canadian Red Cross to aid in the flood relief efforts underway in Quebec City, Ontario, New Brunswick and British Columbia. Because of the constant rain in these provinces, communities at risk need assistance with first aid, shelter, food, clothing and much more.

"Many of our own customers, colleagues, partners and families are impacted by the floods across the country," said Ted Egawa, President & CEO of Canon Canada. “The steady rains have caused a tremendous amount of damage and we wanted to help with the disaster relief in any way that we can so that our neighbours can get back on their feet as soon as possible.”

The Canadian Red Cross Disaster teams help provide emergency supplies and assistance to the evacuated families. To donate to the Canadian Red Cross, please visit redcross.ca.
