Canon Canada will showcase its latest innovative technologies at the country’s largest trade show for the graphic communications and printing industry.
BRAMPTON, Ontario (March 27, 2025) – Canon Canada Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, is excited to announce its participation at Graphics Canada Expo 2025. The country’s largest trade show for the graphic communications and printing industry will be held April 9-11 at the International Centre in Toronto.
Under the theme of “Unleash Print,” Canon Canada will showcase a diverse portfolio of professional printing solutions for graphic applications. Here are 10 things that visitors to the Canon Canada booth will see:
1. Celebration of a decade of Canon sheetfed inkjet. This marks 10 years of Canon production inkjet, and the booth will include a series of videos showcasing the company’s latest release, the varioPRINT iX3200, one of the best-selling products in its class, and the soon-to-be-released varioPRESS iV7 high-volume B2 sheet-fed press. Visitors will also see videos and samples from the current lineup of ColorStream and ProStream inkjet production digital web presses.
2. Exclusive samples from the varioPRINT iX1700. Be the first in Canada to see samples from the forthcoming varioPRINT iX1700. This colour inkjet production press efficiently produces average monthly volumes up to 1.5 million A4 (letter) images. It also supports a wide range of offset media, blending the versatility of digital toner with stable offset production.
3. Canadian debut of the CX-G6400 and IX-R7000 badge and card printers. The CX-G6400 inkjet card printer can output up to 100 business card-sized prints a minute and 45 credential-sized prints per minute on both paper and plastic cards. The IX-R7000, a thermal re-transfer ID card printer, allows cards to be encoded, making them ideal for driver’s licences and student ID cards.
4. Label & Print Shop. Stop by for a taste of the application possibilities on Canon label printers and card and badge printers. Visitors will see cupcake box labels and candy jar labels, gift cards and postcards, and everything in between, even access control cards.
5. imagePROGRAF GP-4600S featuring LUCIA PRO II* pigment ink. The large format printer’s seven-colour ink system includes orange ink and expands the colour gamut to 96 percent of PANTONE™ FORMULA GUIDE Solid Coated**. For those in retail or advertising, the printer’s brilliant colour accuracy is must-see.
6. Arizona Series Gallery Wall. Get a firsthand feel for elevated and textured printing techniques. The gallery wall will showcase samples printed on the Arizona series of true-flatbed printers using PRISMAelevate, a sophisticated yet user-friendly software application.
7. Colorado M-Series with UVgel white ink. A fully modular UVgel roll-to-roll printer for large format graphics, the system can be configured now to fit existing needs and upgraded later as volumes grow. 3M approved the series’ UVgel white ink as part of the 3M™ MSC™ Warranty program.
8. Live demonstration of the imagePRESS V1000. See for yourself the high-speed capabilities of this digital press as it prints a wide range of media (including standard paper, textured stock and synthetic materials) for an impressive array of applications (from envelopes to long sheets to magnets).
