BRAMPTON, ON., June 12, 2018 - Canon Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Nobuhiko “Nobu” Kitajima to the position of Executive Vice President & GM for the Imaging Systems Group and Professional Printing Solutions Group of Canon Canada.
Mr. Kitajima succeeds Mr. Sam Yoshida, who will be leaving Canon Canada, to begin a new assignment as Executive Vice President and GM, Business Imaging Solutions Group (BISG) for Canon USA. Mr. Yoshida will also serve as the Vice Chairman of Canon Solutions America.
Mr. Kitajima joined Canon Inc. in 1981 and has worked globally with several Canon regions, including Japan, Europe and the United States. Since 2002, he has held several senior leadership positions at Canon USA in BISG's Large Format Printer Division, Image Capture Solutions Division and the Innovative Business Development Division.
Most recently, he was the Vice President & GM, Marketing, Business Imaging Solutions Group at Canon USA.
Born in San Francisco, Mr. Kitajima holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law from Aoyama Gakuin University in Japan.
