Canon Canada was excited to participate in ProFusion Expo 2018. The annual trade show for the professional imaging industry includes product launches, demonstrations and guest speakers in an intimate and interactive environment. The event took place on Nov. 13-14 at the Toronto Convention Centre.
Canon Canada’s booth featured an interactive photo shoot where consumers could get hands on with the new EOS R and RF lenses, an amazing print gallery showcasing the imagePROGRAF line of large format printers, and enough Canon cameras, lenses and Cinema EOS products to leave visitors awestruck.
Canon Canada welcomed three guest speakers who attracted big crowds of up-and-coming photographers and filmmakers. Jesse Driftwood talked about storytelling and how to work collaboratively with brands to create social content. Aaron A shared his experiences shooting music videos, including Alessia Cara’s “Scars to Your Beautiful”, with Canon Cinema EOS products. And YouTube icon Jessica Kobeissi spoke about using Canon gear to shoot portraits and create content that gets noticed on the video-sharing website.
“ProFusion provides us a great opportunity to connect with the younger audiences that aspire to become the next professionals,” said Brett Gaskell, Director of Marketing, Product Planning and e-Commerce for the Imaging Technologies and Communications Group at Canon Canada. “We try to bring in a talented roster of speakers that have a big social presence too. It’s amazing to see their fans show up and spend hours at our booth, and it’s a great way showcase our new products to an inspired audience.”
