2024 Sheridan College Grad Show

Canon Canada presented two special awards to graduates of the school’s Honours Bachelor of Photography Program.

Students from Sheridan College’s Honours Bachelor of Photography Program proudly displayed their work at the school’s annual springtime Grad Show. The GRADWORK showcase brought together the students, their families and friends, industry professionals and the public to celebrate the 2024 graduating class, and provided an opportunity to recognize the emerging young photographers becoming part of their new professional community.

Judges handed out eight awards during the evening. Canon Canada proudly sponsored the Canon Awards to three deserving graduates. Junsoo Lee won the Canon Best in Show Award and received new Canon gear. Killian Duivenvoorden and Isaias Souvervielle were co-winners of the Canon Award of Excellence, awarded to the student with the highest fourth-year GPA, and each received a monetary prize

This is the 17th consecutive year Canon Canada has supported the program with scholarships. In addition to the two special awards for graduating students, Canon Canada presents $2,000 scholarships to the top students in Years 1, 2 and 3 of Sheridan College’s Honours Bachelor of Photography Program.
