Donations: Guidelines
Canon Canada proudly assists registered Canadian charities by providing support for their projects or prizes for their fundraising initiatives. We are committed to supporting the communities where we live and work. The following guidelines must be met for a request to be considered for donation support, either monetary or product. Before submitting your request, please carefully review the criteria listed below.
Organizations
Canon primarily supports community, charitable and philanthropic organizations in the following areas:
Canon will support only Canadian-based organizations (registered Canadian charities/not-for-profit) whose work and efforts are executed in Canada.
CANON WILL BE UNABLE TO SUPPORT: INDIVIDUAL SCHOLARSHIPS, SPONSORSHIPS AND OTHER FORMS OF FINANCIAL AID – THIRD-PARTY DONATION REQUESTS OR FLOW THROUGH CHARITIES – POLITICAL PARTIES, POLITICAL CANDIDATES, POLITICAL ORGANIZATIONS AND POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS – RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS – GOLF TOURNAMENTS – TRAVEL-RELATED EVENTS, INCLUDING STUDENT TRIPS OR TOURS – PRIVATE FOUNDATIONS .
