The Canon Colour imageCLASS MF8450c sets new standards for business photo-quality results and speed in the workplace. Its enhanced performance capabilities allow your small business or work group to compete in today's fast-paced business environment.

The innovative 3.5-inch colour panel incorporates a TFT (Thin Film Transistor) display, as well as a user-friendly menu, and the Easy-Scroll Wheel provides effortless control over any project.

With Canon's Quick First Print Technology, the imageCLASS MF8450c provides first copy time of approximately 16 seconds. Multi-page documents are also ready in a short time, at print speeds up to 17 pages-per-minute in both colour and black and white ¹.

The Superior Colour Imaging Technology featured in the MF8450c captures fine details with remarkable tone-on-tone clarity, helping images stay true to the original. Canon Pure Black Technology ensures the richest blacks by utilizing only the black toner instead of traditional methods of combining toner colours.

For added flexibility and user convenience, the imageCLASS MF8450c helps increase productivity with a built-in Ethernet port for networking, and a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface², providing optimal speed when printing, scanning ³ and faxing directly from a PC. The imageCLASS MF8450c also incorporates a 33.6 Kbps Super G3 fax⁴ which includes 200 speed-dial locations, up to 1,000-page memory capacity and one hour of memory back-up.

• Auto-Duplexing (2 sided printing) - Using this feature can save up to 50% of your paper supply.
• 4 in 1, 2 in 1 Printing - This option allows users to place multiple pages on 1 page, saving up to 75% of your paper supply.
• PC Faxing - Send documents directly from your PC to a fax machine to reduce paper and print usage.
• Energy Saving Mode - When the imageCLASS MF8450c enters Energy Saving Mode, it has a low power consumption of 1 watts of energy.
• On-Demand SURF Technology - On-Demand SURF (Surface Rapid Fixing) technology uses a linear ceramic heater that heats instantly for fast warm up speeds and Quick First Prints. This results in up to a 75% reduction in energy consumption compared to conventional roller-fixing systems.
• Toner Saving Mode - When the imageCLASS MF8450c is switched into the toner saving mode, it allows for up to a 20% more economical toner usage.
• AIRSHELL Cartridge Packaging - AIRSHELL is packaging material for our imageCLASS toner cartridges that utilizes air cushioning. It reduces product package sizes, helps to improve shipping efficiency and reduces CO ² emissions generated during transport by approximately 23% to 49%.
• Toner Cartridge Recycling Program - Canon was the first in the printing industry to create a toner cartridge recycling program. Canon toner cartridges are 100% recovered with zero landfill waste.
• Hardware Recycling Program - Canon is committed to the world community and the belief that we are building a better world for future generations. We want to work with our customers to help ensure appropriate recycling of products to help improve the environment and our local communities.
• RoHS Compliance - This is a directive from the european Union that restricts the use of hazardous materials found in electronic products. This product restricts the the use of cadmium, mercury, lead, hexavalent chromium, Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB) and Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE)
