Canon Toner Cartridge Return Program

Frequently Asked Questions

1. I have a large collection of empty toner cartridges, what do I do with them?

Canon Canada is developing a better program to suit your needs. As of now, please ship multiple empty toner cartridges in one box. Get a label from the Canada Post pre-paid shipping label generator on the previous page.

Please ensure that each box you mail in weighs less than 30 kg (65 lbs).

2. When I call Canada Post for a pick-up, they ask for some authorization numbers, how do I get this information?

Canon Canada’s Customer #: 3697584
Canon Canadas Agreement number – 41618514

*If Canada Post asks for an authorization address, please use 6390 Dixie Rd, Mississauga ON, L5T 1P7

3. Why do I have to print a label every time I want to return empty toner cartridges?

Canada Post is modernizing their return programs. Labels that are printed online create unique barcodes. Canada Post then uses high tech equipment to scan these barcodes, sort the mail automatically and ensure your mail gets to its intended destination. Soon, Canada Post will no longer be accepting returns from Canon customers that do not have these automated labels.

4. Canada Post does not come to my office to pick up mail.

You have two options:
Option A – Drop off your shipment with a pre-paid label at a Canada Post Office.
Option B – Call for an on-demand pick up.
