The Canon DP-V2420 4K Reference Display is Canon's flagship 24" model and can satisfy the High Luminance performance required for HDR workflows. Sharing many of the outstanding features of the DP-V2410 4K Reference Display, the DP-V2420 adds additional versatility and functionality. It qualifies as a Dolby Vision mastering monitor (supporting SMPTE ST 2084's gamma curve) as well as the proposed HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) broadcast HDR standards. This display can be ideal for maximum flexibility during any stage of the production and post-production process, and essential for monitoring HDR workflows.

The innovative Canon-designed RGB LED backlight with its 10-bit IPS panel insures a wide-viewing angle, and the anti-glare coating helps improve on-set visibility. It also features a specially developed image-processing engine to help produce uniform brightness. The DP-V2420 utilizes the same high image quality technology found in Canon's other reference displays so you can rely on a consistent look throughout the entire workflow, using any combination from the Canon Display line.

As post processes move on-set or near-set, the DP-V2420 works with a variety of workflows, supporting the ability to internally debayer the Canon Cinema EOS 4K RAW signal output from the Cinema EOS C500 and Cinema EOS C300 Mark II cameras for direct display while looping this signal to an external recorder. This provides a flexible companion to your other Canon equipment and allows you to build a simple but sophisticated on-set Canon workflow. Importantly, the DP-V2420 also allows you to verify the looks of the ALEXA SXT cameras made by ARRI as well supporting a linkup to ARRI's image quality settings and other features such as metadata and area markers.

The DP-V2420 features an aluminum frame design, offering rigidity and strength. The next generation Cinema EOS C700 Digital Cinema Camera is the camera that so many cinematographers having been asking for from Canon and incorporates what Canon has learned through professional feedback over the last five years since the original Cinema EOS C300 was announced.

Canon's new EOS C700 Super35 format camera is designed to be a flexible "A" camera for various types of shooting scenarios. The EOS C700 features both internal 4K ProRes and XF-AVC recording. With the optional 4K Codex CDX-3150 recorder, the EOS C700 is capable of recording uncompressed RAW up to 120 frames per second.

As Canon's flagship cinema camera, the EOS C700 features the choice of one of two new Super 35mm CMOS sensors. With three models to choose from, users can choose the best tool for their shooting requirements. The EOS C700 is available in both EF and PL versions and features a pixel resolution up to 4.5K, a dynamic range of 15 stops and Dual Pixel CMOS AF. The PL mount only EOS C700 GS PL features 14 stops of dynamic range, up to 4K resolution and a Global Shutter.

The EOS C700 also includes a variety of 2K/HD recording options featuring frame rates up to 120 fps using the full frame of the sensor, and up to 240 fps in 2K crop mode.

The rugged magnesium body features rounded edges and semi-circular sides behind the lens mount that hint at the Canon Cinema design legacy. The EOS C700 can be equally comfortable handheld, shoulder-mounted, on a tripod head, gimbal rig or rigged to a car mount.

Outstanding High Resolution 
Precise detail and accurate colour reproduction are vital to many applications. Canon's native 4K resolution (4096 x 2400) produces an image made up of more than 9.8 million pixels. This resolution exceeds both the DCI 4K cinema standard (4096 x 2160) and 4K TV's QFHD (3840 x 2160). At more than four times the detail of Full HD (1920 x 1080), the 4K501ST's resolution delivers extremely sharp images with faithful colour reproduction - creating a highly realistic visual experience.

Advanced Canon Lens
The REALiS 4K501ST comes equipped with a specially designed Genuine Canon 4K short focus wide zoom lens with a consistent F2.6 aperture and throw ratio of 1.0–1.3:1. The lens barrel has a bold red ring which indicates that this lens shares technology with Canon's renowned L-series EF mount professional camera lenses such as an advanced spherical focus feature. The lens itself features a multitude of sophisticated Canon technologies that significantly reduce chromatic aberration, curvilinear distortion, ghosting and flare to create sharp and clear images in a relatively compact projector size. LCOS Technology with AISYS-enhancement
